Unprecedented times call for extraordinary collective action

The India COVID Action Fund

The India COVID Action Fund is an allied fund, reaching India’s most vulnerable through trusted, local, vetted and frontline non-profits.

India is bearing the brunt of a deadly second wave of COVID 19, breaking global records, and showing signs of continued increase, in lives lost and social and economic devastation. The nation’s healthcare system has buckled, stranded migrants are leaving cities in droves, and marginalised communities across India are being hit hardest by COVID’s relentless impact. The most effective, urgent and efficient way to help the vulnerable is through a strong, enabled frontline.

By selecting local non-profits and solutions, our initiative amps up the speed of the response and encourages decentralised action. It entrusts non-profits with an established track record of working closely with vulnerable communities and charting solutions to India’s most complex development challenges.

By donating to the fund, you will support local NGOs at the forefront of India’s COVID response, engaging in emergency humanitarian relief on the ground. You will receive regular updates on the work we accomplish, enabled by your donation. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference.
